You will learn to use technology to increase efficiencies and effectiveness in your Collaborative Practice.  Part I is an introduction to mindmapping technology as an alternative to a flip chart / minutes using MS Word, and Part 2 contains strategies to integrate technology and paperless office systems into the Collaborative Process to improve efficiencies.

Stephanie Dobson - As sole proprietor of Henka Divorce Law & Mediation, Stephanie is a caring, results-focused, and experienced Collaborative Divorce lawyer and Mediator who helps growth-minded, coachable parents navigate a family separation while they connect with and support their children, empowering them to make a plan to write a new family story based on developing lifelong, peaceful, positive and thriving relationships.  She has welcomed technology into her practice, operating a paperless office and using video-conferencing technology to reach families both in her local community of Lloydminster, Alberta, Canada, as well as those living across Canada.

As an educator, Stephanie is the founder & CEO of Up A Notch Learning Inc., an e-learning community which supports separating and divorcing families globally to become empowered and to thrive in their transition into a two-home family.

Stephanie has presented world-wide on a wide-range of topics including the use of technology in Mediation and Collaborative Divorce and Tools for professionals to increase their Collaborative Practice.  Stephanie is an active community volunteer and has served on many board of directors, presently being the Chair of the Alberta Law Foundation, Vice-Chair of the Legal Education Society of Alberta, and Chair of her local Bar Association.  She is a member of many ADR associations including the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP), Family Mediation Canada (FMC), Alberta Family Mediation Society (AFMS), Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC).  She is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) and her local Chamber of Commerce.
