Whether you are a seasoned collaborative professional or new to the collaborative process, GCLC’s annual conference should not be missed! Learn from the experts to enhance your collaborative skills or, if you are new to the collaborative process, learn basic process and theory. In communities around the world, collaborative practice has been embraced by professionals and clients, but not just for family law disputes. Civil practitioners are now applying the collaborative process to conflicts and legal disputes involving “divorces of another color,” i.e. to partnership breakups, small corporation dissolutions, probate contests, employment disputes, etc. In the first day of this highly interactive training, you will learn how to apply the collaborative process to legal disputes of many types. But stay for more. Quality collaborative practitioners are never satisfied with what they know or how they apply the collaborative model. In the advanced portion of this training, professionals will learn cutting-edge strategies and techniques that have been successfully implemented in collaborative communities around the world. And then, finally, explore innovative marketing techniques to help clients choose the collaborative process, and to take the steps necessary to build your civil collaborative practice. Continental breakfast, light snacks, and beverages are included for each day. Social to follow on Friday after the training.
